Galerie Orlent

Founded in 2021 by Philippe Orlent, Galerie Orlent is an imaginative project created to explore his personal ideas.
This fictional art gallery showcases the work of imaginary artists, using the platform to explore themes such as integrity, authenticity, reality, truth and ownership. In doing so, the gallery questions existing social and artistic conventions and their potential future evolution.

Galerie Orlent serves as a creative haven where the founder interacts with the personas that inhabit it, allowing him to work without a definitive signature. The execution and form of the works emerge from the questions and ideas raised during the process.

These works often appear deceptively light-hearted, concealing deeper meanings beneath their playful surface - aiming to elicit at least a smile from the viewer or, ideally, to provoke critical reflection.

Despite the fictional nature of the gallery and its artists, the resulting works exist in reality. The project is rooted in Polyformism, an art movement created by Philippe Orlent, which serves as the philosophical backbone of the gallery and guides its conceptual and creative approach.
