Peter Frommey, born in Glenbarrow in 1980, is a contemporary artist renowned for his captivating and vibrant water-themed art. His unique and signature style is the result of his passion for water and its many forms, reflected in his captivating seascapes, waterscapes, and underwater scenes. Frommey honed his skills at the Blarney College of Fine Arts and apprenticed with the acclaimed surrealist sculptor Caoimhe O'Malley.
Frommey's works have been exhibited in galleries across Ireland, the UK, France, and the USA, including the prestigious Parisian gallery, Galerie de la Lune, and the New York gallery, Vincenza.
