Peter Frommey (°1980, Glenbarrow - IRE)


Peter Frommey, born in Glenbarrow in 1980, is a contemporary artist renowned for his captivating and vibrant water-themed art. His unique and signature style is the result of his passion for water and its many forms, reflected in his captivating seascapes, waterscapes, and underwater scenes. Frommey honed his skills at the Blarney College of Fine Arts and apprenticed with the acclaimed surrealist sculptor Caoimhe O'Malley.

Frommey's works have been exhibited in galleries across Ireland, the UK, France, and the USA, including the prestigious Parisian gallery, Galerie de la Lune, and the New York gallery, Vincenza. His exceptional artwork has garnered critical acclaim, with pieces featured in the collections of prominent museums such as the Gossly Contemporary.

In addition to his artistic pursuits, Frommey is an avid surfer and sailor, with his love for the sea evident in his works. He resides in his hometown, where he spends his days creating new pieces and exploring the coast for inspiration.
